Baltimore Archbishop William Lori saddened by death of Pope Francis; plans to host memorial Mass tonight

Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori said April 21 that he was saddened to learn of Pope Francis’ passing and that he plans to attend his funeral as well as host a memorial Mass locally.

A funeral Mass will be offered April 24 in Hamburg, N.Y., for Conventual Franciscan Father Francis (Frank) J. Lombardo, who taught English for five years at Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore. Father Lombardo, a priest  of the Our Lady of the Angels Province, died April 8. He was 90.
