Francis “Frank” Paul Bramble Sr., a devoted father of six who was deeply involved in furthering Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, died Sept. 23 of a heart attack. The longtime financial services executive was 75.

A funeral Mass for School Sister of Notre Dame Mary Jacquelyn Elly was offered June 6 at Villa Assumpta in Towson. Sister “Jackie” died at Stella Maris Nursing Center in Lutherville May 27. She was 93.

Father David Allen, S.J., former longtime Good Samaritan chaplain, dies at 87

In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Father Allen served for a year as an assistant chaplain at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore. He was chaplain at Good Samaritan from 1982 to 2000. He also served as superior of the Ferdinand Wheeler House in Baltimore for three years.
