Archbishop William E. Lori conferred the honors at a private reception at his residence next to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore. Honorees will be publicly recognized in May at the archdiocesan Shine the Light Gala.

A funeral Mass for Franciscan Sister Gloria Keltz (formerly Sister Robert St. Joan) was offered March 6 at Assisi House in Aston, Pa. Sister Gloria died March 3. She was 95 and had been a professed member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 75 years.

A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 28 for Franciscan Sister Evelyn Grudza (formerly Sister Philip Marie), a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 70 years. Sister Evelyn, who ministered in the Archdiocese of Baltimore for 64 years, died at Assisi House in Aston, Pa., Feb. 25 at 92.
